About this program
The Visual Art studio is a place where creative risk is the expectation, not the exception. Students work across painting, drawing, mixed media, and digital art — always with a push to develop their own voice and perspective. Instruction is rooted in real artistic principles: color theory, composition, design thinking, and visual storytelling. Every semester ends with a gallery showcase where student work is displayed and celebrated as the achievement it is.

The Visual Art Program gives students the tools and freedom to create meaningful, expressive work across a variety of mediums — drawing, painting, mixed media, and more. Each semester follows a curriculum that builds foundational skills (line, shape, color, value, texture, form) while encouraging personal expression and creativity. Students are challenged to think visually, work intentionally, and develop their own artistic voice.
